Up along the waterfront Your can get the things you want Fish and chips or fresh air It’s so fun to be down there So down the hall and up the street Let’s find a place where it’s good to eat Yellow taxi flying past They’re always in a hurry Cars jam the roads tonight Streets are lit by electric light Alls a riot of people moving It has got me laughing All the world’s a moving stage People play the parts they play Behind the scene the playwright makes Endless edges of happenings What we’re seeing here is just camouflage A slight resemblance but a real mirage A real mirage I found a lonely case, a lonely world lost in space Oh look what’ve got to do? Should we all be dancing? Up upon the open stage, the open world in open space Or charge the laws, or change the wheel, or stay up all night dancing Like a dancing fool So fancy free Oh what we’re seeing here is just a camouflage A slight resemblance but a real mirage

Dusted off your fancy hat Brought out the city map slapped it into the pack didn't you and we stepped out on the avenue Where bright colors lined the way, I think they were having a gay parade and i don't mean gay like they say today I mean it the way like they used to say and dear me, what a dust up all the chip shops were busy that day write it in to the papers but they don't want to know about things we have to say on our holiday

Hot sun, summer sun blue sky today warm wind blows in blows me away We've found that sound that seems to say Everything that's been, is going to be okay Too long far gone gone gone away I've been spread thin and need to say It's time and that's fine to get away it's time and that's fine. And when the sun is going down, we'll watch the moon rise, nothing like the colors of the fading sky Sacred night so beautiful, makes everything blue. alright.

about

Greg Paquette Hamilton, Ontario

Was born on a derigible to Russian foreign operatives during the 2nd World War. An accident over Germany's Black Forest left me alone and helpless. I was rescued by a band of kindly squirrels who raised me as thier own. Two years later I was discovered by a band of travelling gypsy minstrels, I was ravaged by scurvy and rickets but they took me in and taught me music. I still had scurvy. ... more
